Freddie Stretch

Research Assistant

Freddie Stretch is a Research Assistant with the Toronto Climate Observatory, working on the Bay Street Climate Monitor and the financed emissions of Toronto’s financial sector. He is a PhD candidate at the Centre for Environmental Policy, Imperial College London, where his research examines emissions responsibility accounting for the net zero transition – how greenhouse gas emissions are attributed beyond national borders to better capture the climate impact of economic activity. He holds an MSc in Climate Change Management and Finance and has several years of experience in financial and carbon accounting.
