Dylan Van Bramer

Ph.D. Student, Computer Science

Dylan is a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. She studied computer science as an undergraduate at Cornell, where she became drawn to research as a way to bridge technical rigor with questions that matter in the world. Her research interests centre on environmental data and how it can be used responsibly in modeling, with a particular focus on the interpretability of models and on how environmental data is collected, used, and shaped by bias.
